Disposition versions
268. When signals are issued from a conveyance, the signalling device shall be within the reach of the conveyance tender.
Where signals are given by means of a rope, its length may not exceed:
(1) 25 m (82 ft) for shaft sinking operation;
(2) 50 m (164 ft) for shaft inspection.
